Naked DSL works the same way existing ADSL does, so no new or additional hardware is required for existing ADSL customers, you can even use the existing phone sockets in your house. This gives you permanent high speed access to the Internet without the added cost of phone line rental.
All Naked DSL accounts come with AdamTalk (Adam Internet's VoIP service) free of charge. AdamTalk allows you to make and receive calls using your broadband service. For more information on AdamTalk [Click Here].
Adam Internet has upgraded the majority of South Australian metropolitan exchanges, which are now able to provide ADSL2+ connection speeds†. Naked DSL runs on Adam Internet's own network which provides high quality, fast and cost effective services.
Naked DSL plans are only available in AdamDirect enabled exchanges. To view the list of exchanges currently enabled for Naked DSL [Click Here]. Due to high demand, available ports may be limited. Ports will be allocated on a first in, first served basis.

Definitions
| †Speed | 24000k/1000k is the maximum possible speed of an Naked DSL service, generally only a small percentage of customers will obtain download speeds above 20000k. As the distance from the exchange increases, the speed will decrease accordingly. This decrease is affected by the quality of your phone line, including the internal wiring of your house. It is impossible for Adam Internet to determine the attainable speed prior to your service being active. As a general rule, we will only connect your service if your line will support 1500k or better. Based on a sample of existing AdamDirect customers, the average connection speed obtained is between 6000k/1000k and 8000k/1000k. |
| Monthly Data | Monthly Data will include all data transfers - eg. all web browsing (images and text included), emails, file transfer, newsgroups, instant messaging and Voice over IP. Double Data Bonus (DDB) - You are allowed on a monthly basis the equivalent value of your monthly data through our Peering Resources. Peering Resources include traffic between other Adam Internet customers, Pipe Networks, AdNAP, GamingSA and File Arena. For example: If you are on the Naked DSL Light account you can download 5000 MB of internet traffic as well as 5000 MB of data through our Peering Resources. Double Data Bonus is offered at no additional cost. You can obtain a detailed report on your monthly usage from our Member Services Area at any time. |
| Excess Shaped | All Naked DSL accounts have a monthly quota. Should you exceed that quota you will not incur any additional charges. Instead, your account will automatically be 'shaped' (reduced in speed) to 64k/64k (roughly twice as fast as dial-up) until the start of your next billing cycle. This will occur if you exceed your monthly quota on any data allocation (Download, Upload, Local (DDB), or Off Peak traffic). Each traffic allocation is counted individually and shaping will only occur if you exceed one or more allocation (not the total). Data usage can be checked from our members area at any time. Shaping is subject to a fair use policy. |
| *Monthly Cost | Costs are payable monthly in advance either by Credit Card or Direct Debit (Please note that your order will be delayed at least an additional 3 business days when using Direct Debit). Billing will occur on the anniversary of the activation of your ADSL order. For example, if your connection is activated on the 7th of the month, your billing will occur on the 7th of every month thereafter. The current pricing for Adam Internet's Naked DSL Service is based on pricing that the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has determined is the current market rate for such services. The ACCC has determined this pricing in the release of determinations related to ULL Access Disputes by other Internet Service Providers. Adam Internet has lodged a ULL Access Dispute against Telstra that is pending a final determination by the ACCC, which should be made during 2008. Adam Internet has already passed the benefit of the ACCC's determined market rate to our customers in our current pricing, however Adam Internet reserves the right to review pricing of our Naked DSL Service based on the outcome of the ULL Access Dispute with Telstra. Should Adam Internet amend the pricing of the Naked DSL Service as a result of this outcome, Adam Internet will not apply any price changes retrospectively and will advise all customers subscribed to the service in writing of any proposed amendments to the pricing structure. |

Potential Additional Costs |

| Plan Change
|
Adam Internet provides a “value guarantee” that preserves your ADSL value throughout the term of your contract. For a single administration fee of $35 you may retain your current contract period but move to a plan which is less than the monetary value of your current plan. If in contract, you can change to a plan that is greater in monetary spend for free*. If out of contract you can change up or down in spend free of charge*. *Any plan change requiring a change in speed will cost $35 |
30 Day Tune Up
|
Adam Internet wants you to be on the right plan and therefore provides the ability to change your data allowance up or down within your first billing cycle. All you would pay is the monthly plan difference, as long as your speed remains the same. For example, if you started on our Naked DSL Light ($54.95 for 5 Gb/month) account and you found after 2 weeks you needed a greater data allowance you could upgrade to our Naked DSL Medium ($59.95 for 10 Gb/month) account for just $5. |
DSL Disconnection Fee (Only applicable to services connected less then 6 months) $65 |
This fee applies if your DSL service is disconnected and has been connected for less then 6 months. This fee also applies if your phone line is disconnected prior to the minimum 6 month connection of your DSL service and is payable once your DSL service is disconnected. |
NakedDSL Relocation Fee $150 |
If at a later date you move house, a relocation of Naked DSL to another residence is available at a cost of $150. Adam Internet cannot guarantee the availability of Naked DSL, AdamDirect or standard ADSL at any residence, however Adam Internet can test ADSL availability on active phone numbers upon request. Adam Internet requires a minimum of 5 business days to relocate an ADSL service. Should relocation of an ADSL type service not be available a Dial-Up service shall be provided for the remainder of the contracted period. |
Cut Over Fee $110 |
If you have moved into a location with no existing phone service, we may need to organise for a cut over to your internal phone sockets. If a cut over is required, there will be an additional cost of $110 for a technician to attend your premises. In cases where cut over is required, there will be a delay in the completion time of your Naked DSL service. |
Changed or Missed Appointment $109 |
If you need to change the appointment for the installation of your new phone line or if no one is home during the appointment window, this charge will apply. |
Alteration to Existing Telephone Service
|
Services associated with a telephone line that require dial tone to operate will not be available in conjunction with a Naked DSL service. It is your responsibility to ensure that alternative arrangements are made if necessary. If you have a standard telephone service, this will be disconnected during the activation of the Naked DSL service. |
